On my 09 Altima, my system went into an error mode and wouldn't clear. I found the write-up on setting each tire to a specific (and different) pressure, then sending the system into a learn mode by grounding the plug under the dash (running a wire from the plug and tapping a ground several times). There's more to it, but I did manage to get it to work after about the 4th try. Drove it around and the light cleared, filled tires back to normal and it's been fine since.
